Privacy and enquiry information.

Information we collect

The enquiry form may collect your name, mobile number or email address (or both), selected package or service, event date, event type and the details you choose to include in your message. Please do not submit sensitive personal information.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to check availability, answer your questions, prepare a quote and arrange event styling if you decide to book. We do not sell enquiry information.

Delivery and storage

Website enquiries are processed through Cloudflare and delivered to the Dream Events business inbox. Messages may be retained while we respond, quote, provide the requested service and meet reasonable business or legal record-keeping needs.

Event planning concierge

The planning concierge processes the event details you enter to build a brief and suggest a published package starting point. When AI assistance is enabled, the event details and messages you enter in the planner are sent to Google’s Gemini API to extract brief fields. If you choose to create a concept image, the event type, theme, colours, decor interests and selected package direction are also sent to Gemini. Dream Events’ own rules still control package suggestions, published prices and service-area notices. If Gemini is unavailable, the planner uses fixed matching rules instead. Your contact details are collected separately on the review screen and are not sent to Gemini by these features.

Saved designs and previews

The planner keeps your design choices and preview references in your current browser tab so you can return to them. Drafts more than seven days old are not restored. Your name, phone number and email are not saved in this browser storage. Generated images are stored through Cloudflare and can be opened by anyone who has their exact preview link. When you submit an enquiry, your selected package, colours, extras, starting estimate and preview reference are saved with it for Dream Events to review.

To limit automated use of AI previews, we count requests using a daily hash of your IP address. Our preview usage table stores that hash rather than your raw IP address. Counters more than seven days old are removed when the preview service next receives a request.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, general device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions such as contact clicks and successful enquiry submissions. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. We do not send your name, email address or enquiry message to Google Analytics. Google may process analytics data under its own privacy policy.

We also use the Meta Pixel so we can measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. It records page visits, contact clicks and successful enquiry submissions, and Meta may use cookies and similar technologies on this site to collect that information and match it to Meta accounts for ad measurement and targeting. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or enquiry message to Meta. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy, and you can manage how Meta uses it for ads in your Meta ad preferences.

Our own website also keeps simple visit records so we know when people are interested in our services. It uses a first-party cookie holding a random identifier, and records the pages viewed, how you arrived (for example from a Google ad or search), how long a page was open and how far it was scrolled, taps on our phone, email and social links, when an enquiry form is started, your device type and your approximate suburb as estimated by our hosting provider. Nothing you type into a form is recorded until you send it. If you send an enquiry, we note with it how you found us that day (for example "Google ad, then the packages page") so we know which advertising works. We do not store your IP address, these records are not shared with anyone else, and visit records are deleted after 90 days.
